The inshore waters of Panama City Beach are heating up as we move further into March. We have seen consistent action throughout the bay system, particularly in the shallower grass flats and backcountry canals. The water clarity in West Bay has been excellent lately, allowing for some productive sight-fishing opportunities for those keeping a sharp eye on the shoreline. Redfish have been the stars of our recent trips. We are finding them schooling near the oyster bars and early-season grass edges.
